Operated by the Foundation, Helping Hands Thrift Store offers a local shopping experience that supports outreach programs for children in Columbia County. We offer low cost family clothing and huge discounts on household items, kitchen and bath accessories, home décor, books, DVDs, CDs, cassettes, and albums. Surprise items and low costs make this little yellow house the place to shop.

Donations for new and slightly used clothing, furniture and household items are welcome. Tax donation receipts are available. Donations may be dropped off during business hours and placed outside on the deck.

Free family clothing is available twice a year to Columbia County residents with a referral. Referrals for our clothing assistance may be made by school personnel, churches and social service agencies. Contact the store for more information or directions to the store.

Proceeds from the sale of donated items support the Foundation’s benevolence, pantry, Christmas, and college scholarship programs for Columbia County families.
