Logo Design Contest

The Columbia County Foundation for Children (CCFC) is excited to announce a Logo Design Contest exclusively for Columbia County High School students!

We are seeking a fresh, modern logo that reflects the mission of CCFC while paying tribute to our original logo and/or the Helping Hands Thrift Store sign (see below reference). The winning design will be unveiled at our Grant & Scholarship Reception on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Junior Achievement Center, and the designer will be awarded $1,000.

Contest Timeline

  • Opens: Today
  • Closes: End of business day, Friday, February 27, 2026 - Tuesday, March 31, 2026
  • Winner Announced: Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Grant & Scholarship Reception

Submission Requirements

  1. Eligibility:
    • Open only to students currently enrolled in a Columbia County, Georgia high school.
    • Individual submissions only (no group entries).
  2. Design Guidelines:
    • Must be an original creation by the student.
    • Should present a modernized look while maintaining visual reference to the original CCFC logo and/or the Helping Hands Thrift Store Sign.
    • Must include the full name: Columbia County Foundation for Children.
    • Design should be versatile and suitable for digital, print, signage, and merchandise.
  3. File Requirements:
    • Submit high-resolution files in the following formats:
      • Vector file (.AI or .EPS)
      • High-quality raster versions (.PNG and .JPG)
    • Minimum resolution: 300 dpi
    • Maximum file size: 20MB per file
    • Alternate Submission Option:
      Entrants may submit a PNG file created in Canva. If selected as the winnter, the entrant agrees to share the Canva project file with the Columbia County Foundation for Children within Canva, graning CCFC full access to edit and export the design for branding and marketing use.?
    • Submissions must be emailed to ccfoundationforchildren@gmail.com the subject line: CCFC Logo Contest – [Student Name]
      • Alternately can be saved to a thumb drive and delivered to the offices of Bill Beazley Homes 7009 Evans Town Center Blvd. Evans, GA in an envelope addressed: Attention: Columbia County Foundation for Children CCFC Logo Contest – [Student Name]
    • Fonts must be free for commercial licenses and submission must include a link to the licensing website.

Prize

  • $1,000 awarded to the winning student at the Grant & Scholarship Reception on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Junior Achievement Center.

  • By entering this contest, participants affirm that their submission is their original work and does not infringe on any existing copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
  • All entries submitted will become the exclusive property of the Columbia County Foundation for Children and may be used for branding, marketing, and promotional purposes.
  • Submissions will not be returned.
  • No purchase necessary. Contest is void where prohibited.
  • CCFC reserves the right to make modifications to the winning logo design to better serve branding needs.
  • The winner must provide proof of enrollment in a Columbia County high school to receive the award.
  • The $1,000 prize is a one-time payment and may be subject to federal and state tax reporting requirements.

  • Professionalism – Meets design and submission standards
